New Defy Extreme Wood Stain – Environmentally Friendly with Nano … – PR Web

Defy Extreme vs Sherwin Williams
Rochester, MI (PRWEB)
New to the Defy line of Exterior Restoration is the Defy Extreme Wood Stain. This new stain contains nano-technology particles of zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is white pigment and when manufactured extremely small they become invisible to the naked eye. Zinc oxide is a UV reflector from the Sun's harmful rays. With over 30 trillion per square inch, the nano-sized zinc oxide will provide "sunscreen" for exterior wood and decking. Not only will this help with prolonging the graying, but the nano-particles are highly resistant to mold and mildew, enabling the ability to retain the natural color better then any other wood or deck stain.
In March of 2010, Defy Extreme Wood Stain added 3 new colors this year. Now available in transparent but tinted colors of Cedar Tone, Light Walnut, and Natural Pine. When you combine the zinc oxide with traditional pigments this will increase the ability to prolong the natural graying by 300%.
The new Defy Extreme has been thoroughly tested against some of the leading brands of stain. The results show resistance to UV fading compared to other national brands. Please see photos for results. The pictures were taken after 6 months in the Florida sun. You can see the Defy Extreme in Cedar Tone compared to other deck stain brands in Cedar Color.
Defy wood stains are registered "Green" and meet the MPI (Master Painter's Institute) guidelines for environmental friendliness and maximum performance.
